Steps

Heat oil and add onions,fry till brown,remove from heat,allow to cool and then grind with little water to make a fine paste.

Heat the remaining oil and add the cloves, black peppercorns,cardamoms and cinnamon, saute till nice fragrant.

Now add onion paste and cook well.

Add ginger, garlic and green chilli paste. Saute until raw smell of masala goes away

Add yogurt / dahi/curd,mix well and cook for a minute.

Add coriander powder, crushed black pepper, turmeric powder red chilli powder,salt and sugar.. Mix and cook for 2 minutes.

Add 1 cup water, cottage cheese cubes and cream and mix.

Cover the pan with a aluminium foil and and keep a lid over this. Simmer the gas and cook for 15 minutes on low flame. Ensure you have added enough water to the gravy,else it may get burnt at the bottom.

Now open it,if it is little bit watery then cook further if you like to dry it up.

Garnish with coriander leave and serve hot with
