Ingredients

36 servings
  1. 2eggs
  2. 1 tspvanilla extract (I use extra)
  3. 1 cupmacadamia nuts, coarsley chopped
  4. 3/4 cupbutter or margarine, softened
  5. 6 ozwhite chocolate baking bar, coarsley chopped
  6. 1 cupquick cooking oats (not instant or old fashioned)
  7. 1 packagesDuncan Hines ® moist deluxe french vanilla cake mix

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 375°.

  2. 2

    Combine cake mix, butter, eggs and vanilla extract in a large bowl.

  3. 3

    Beat at low speed with an electric mixer until moistened.

  4. 4

    Beat at medium speed until mixture is blended and smooth.

  5. 5

    Stir in oats, macadamia nuts and chopped white chocolate baking bar.

  6. 6

    Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.

  7. 7

    Bake for 12 to 13 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.

  8. 8

    Cool 1 minute on baking sheets.

  9. 9

    Remove to cooling racks.

  10. 10

    *For a flavor variation, use Duncan Hines ® moist deluxe swiss chocolate cake mix.*

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
