I had some fish fry leftover so I thought I'd make something different. My escalopes were slightly thick but they still came out delicious. I decided to marinade the meat prior to give it a lot more flavour.

I had some fish fry leftover so I thought I'd make something different. My escalopes were slightly thick but they still came out delicious. I decided to marinade the meat prior to give it a lot more flavour.

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 2pork escalopes, preferably thin
  2. 1garlic clove, minced
  3. salt
  4. cracked black pepper
  5. Juice of half a lemon
  6. fish fry
  7. vegetable or olive oil
  8. 1chili powder or hot paprika (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Hammer the pork escalopes, to make them tender.

  2. 2

    Place the escalopes in a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients apart from the fish fry and oil.

    Cover with clingfilm and leave to marinade in the fridge overnight or for at least 2 hours.

    When its time to cook. Remove the pork from any remaining juices. You can either choose to deep fry or shallow fry, using either vegetable oil or olive oil.

    Depending on your chosen cooking method heat the oil.

    In a shallow plate add enough fish fry to coat the meat.

  7. 7

    Coat well on both sides with the fish fry.

  8. 8

    Then fry on each side for 3-5 minutes or until cooked.

    When cooked serve as you wish.
