Ingredients

  1. Marination
  2. 500 gramsChicken Breast cut into pieces
  3. 1 tbspGinger garlic paste
  4. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  5. 1 tspCoriander powder (optional)
  6. 1 tspPepper powder
  7. Gravy
  8. 2Onion (chopped)
  9. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  10. 2green chillies
  11. 1a handful of dried fenugreek leaves
  12. 1salt to taste
  13. 3tomatos (chopped)
  14. 15cashew nuts broken into small pieces
  15. 200 gramsfresh cream or half and half
  16. 1a pinch of sugar
  17. 4 tbspbutter
  18. 2 tbsptomato ketchup
  19. 3 tbspoil

Cooking Instructions

    marinate chicken pieces with salt, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, coriander powder and pepper powder

    shallow fry until golden brown

  3. 3

    remove from pan and keep aside. in the same pan saute onion

  4. 4

    add ginger garlic paste and green chillies.

  5. 5

    when onions turn golden brown, add crushed fenugreek leaves, salt, tomatoes and cashew nuts

    saute for 3-4 mins

    add enough water and cook covered on low heat

  8. 8

    when tomatoes are well cooked, transfer to a blender and grind to a smooth paste

  9. 9

    :- please make sure the mixture is cooled before you transfer to blender

    heat up pan and add butter

    add blended mixture and the chicken pieces

  12. 12

    let it simmer so the chicken can absorb the sauce and wil be really juicy

    add cream, tomato ketchup and sugar for balancing the taste.
