Steps

place pan or muffin tins in oven and preheat oven to 400° this is a double batch recipe so you will need two muffin tins or two 8 inch rounds or one large dish. I use a cast iron pan.

Put all ingredients into a large bowl and mix until fully incorperated.

Take pan out of oven and spray non stick Pam or put a pat of butter. Then pour the batter into the hot pan.

At this point you could place a jalepenos on top.

bake for about 20 minutes. You want the top to be golden brown and a brown crust on the bottom.

This cornbread is so moist and delicious. It is slightly sweet when I use brown sugar. If you like your cornbread sweeter add a bit more sugar.
