Ingredients

  1. 1 cupSushi rice
  2. 1 cupWater
  3. 20 gramsFresh ginger
  4. 4 tbspSoya Sauce
  5. 1 tbspMaple syrup
  6. 2 tspFish powder (optional)

  1. 1

    Rinse rice very well, until water doesn't come out to cloudy

  2. 2

    add rice, water and ginger to a pot

  3. 3

    slowly add soy sauce and syrup and taste after each addition to make sure that the
    flavor is what you want

  4. 4

    At fish powder if using

  5. 5

    With lid on, bring to a boil over medium – high heat.

  6. 6

    Once water starts to boil, turn heat down to low and let simmer for 15 to 20 minutes

  7. 7

    Remove from heat and let stand for another 10 minutes with the lid still on.
