Ingredients

  1. 350 gramschena /paneer
  2. 1onion chopped
  3. 1 tablespoonginger garlic paste
  4. 1tomato pureed
  5. 1.5 teaspoonjeera powder
  6. 1 teaspoonkashmiri mirch powder
  7. 1 teaspoongaram masala powder
  8. 2-3green chillies
  9. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  10. 1bay leaf
  11. 1red chilli whole
  12. 1 tablespoonwhole garam masalas
  13. To tastesalt and sugar
  14. As neededoil and ghee
  15. As neededwater

  1. 1

    Knead the chena well adding salt and garam masala powder

  2. 2

    Form balls,deep fry and keep aside

  3. 3

    Now add oil and ghee and temper bay leaf red chilli whole garam masalas and jeera

  4. 4

    Add chopped onion and saute till it becomes slight brown

  5. 5

    Add ginger garlic paste and salt mix well

  6. 6

    Add tomato pureed,red chilli Powder and turmeric powder and mix

  7. 7

    Add jeera powder mix well and pour water into it

  8. 8

    Allow it to boil adding the fried chena balls

  9. 9

    Finally add garam masala powder and green chillies

  10. 10

    You chanaar dalna is ready
