Ingredients

  1. 1 bowlleftover sabzi (any gravy or dry..I used cabbage curry)
  2. 1 bowldal (tadka or plain)
  3. 2.5 bowlswheat flour
  4. 2medium onions finely chopped
  5. 2 tablespoonfinely chopped coriander
  6. 1 tablespoonkasuri methi
  7. 3/4 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  8. 3/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  9. 2 teaspoonchilli-garlic paste
  10. 1 teaspoonroasted sesame seeds
  11. 1 teaspooncarom seeds
  12. 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  13. 2 teaspoonoil
  14. to tasteSalt
  15. 1 teaspoonchaat masala
  16. 1/2 teaspoonhing
  17. Water only if required
  18. Oil or ghee for shallow frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix wheat flour, onion, coriander, hilli-garlic paste, salt, leftover sabzi, dal, all spices and above listed ingredients and knead soft dough. Apply oil on it. Let it rest for 20 minutes.

    Make equal sized balls of it, roll them into 6" disc.

  3. 3

    Heat a tawa. Shallow fry these parathas on medium heat from both the sides. Apply generous amount of oil/ghee while frying.

  4. 4

    Top it up with butter, Serve hot with curd or pickle.

  5. 5

    P.s.: Any leftover curry, dal can be used. If you are using pumpkin/bottlegourd/potato curry, then mash it before adding to flour. Use of water depends on consistency of curry/dal.
