Ingredients

  1. 1 cupcorn flour
  2. 3 cupwater
  3. 2 cupsugar
  4. 1 tspvanilla essence
  5. 1 tsplemon juice
  6. 5 tbspGhee
  7. 10Almonds, chopped
  8. 1/4 tspcardamom powder
  9. Few drops of Yellow and green food colour / colour of your choice
  10. 5almonds, chopped for garnish

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take 1 cup corn flour and 2 cup water.

    mix well without forming any lumps.
    keep aside.

    CORNFLOUR HALWA:

    Firstly, in a non-stick pan take sugar add water.

    allow the syrup to boil.

    Pour corn flour mixture into the boiling sugar syrup.

    furthermore, stirring continuously on low-medium flame.

    Once the corn flour mixture starts to boil, and starts to thicken.

    Immediately add a tsp of lemon juice.
    Add vanilla essence.

    also keep stirring till the mixture thickens completely.

    Now add a tbsp full of ghee.

    and mix continuously till all the ghee is absorbed.

    Further, add another tbsp of more ghee and continue to mix till it turns glossy.

    then the mixture will start turning transparent and silky. releasing ghee from sides.

    Add chopped almonds
    Add Cardamom Powder
    Mix well and cook.
    Now Half mixture of halwa keep aside for other colour

    Now add yellow food colour.

    continue to mix till mixture will start to form a lump.

    Later, transfer the mixture to a grished tray and level.
    Now take again non stick pan add rest of halwa and add green colour.
    Mix well and transfer the mixture to a yellow colour Halwa and level with spatula.

    Now sprinkle some chopped almonds and rest for an 3 to 4 hour.

    finally, cut to a desired shape and serve.
