Achari Chicken Biryani

There are so many different ways to make biryani and one type is the achari biryani which I am sharing here today. The chatpata taste of achar combined with the traditional spices of biryani masala makes the biryani more tasty and spicy then any regular biryani.

Achari Chicken Biryani

Clean and wash the rice and soak the rice for 15 minutes. Then boil the rice.

Boil the rice

Take a pot add oil, chopped onion fry till light golden brown colour then add ginger garlic paste, chicken and fry till light golden brown colour.

Then add all dry spices, Achar Gosht masala, yogurt, tomatoes and mix well. Cover and cook on low flame for 15 minutes till chicken is tender and tomato is soft. Add 2 tbsp Achar pickle and bhonify together.

Then add coriander leaves,mint leaves, green chillies, lemon slices. Achari chicken masala is ready.

Now assembling time.
Now add boiled rice and add layers of achari chicken masala in between. Repeat one more layer. Place the coriander leaves and mint leaves on top. - 7
Cover the lid for dum.
Place on low heat flame on stove then place a flat tawa underneath it and simmer for 20 minutes minutes on low flame. - 8
Dish out in serving dish Serve hot with raita 😋.
