Grind together all the ingredients of rasam powder in a mixer jar. mix 1/4 cup of water and grind to a paste.

Heat oil in a pressure cooker,add curry leaves and urad dal.Saute.Add.ground saram paste and fry.Add turmeric powder and salt. mix it well.

Mix tomato puree and arhar dal in it.Add 3 cups of water and mix.Close the lid and cook for 8 min.on medium heat.

Heat 1 tbsp oil,add curry patta and mustard seeds.Piur it over the rasam and cover it.Your tasty rasam is ready to serve.
