Ingredients

  1. For Mini Idli
  2. 1 cupsuji
  3. 1 cupcurd
  4. 1 cupwater
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. 1 pinchblack pepper powder
  7. 1small sachet of eno fruit salt
  8. For Dalia Chutney
  9. 1/4 cupfresh coconut
  10. 1/4 cupDalia(roasted chana dal)
  11. 2green chilies
  12. leavesFew curry
  13. Salt as per taste
  14. Pinchsugar
  15. 2 tablespooncurd
  16. 1 tspoil
  17. 1 tspmustard seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all the ingredients of idli and make a smooth batter. Let it rest for 10mins

  2. 2

    Add fruit salt, 1tablespoon water, let it bubble, mix quickly and pour it in greased mini idli moulds. Steam idlis for 15mins.

    For chutney, take everything except oil, mustard seeds and 4-5 curry leaves in a mixie jar. Using little water, grind it into smooth chutney. Take oil in small tadka pot, add curry leaves and mustard seeds, let it splutter. Pour over prepared chutney.

    After 15mins, remove the idli from steamer and cook for 2-3mins. Demould them.

    Mini idli are ready to be served or packed in tiffin for kids.
