i having been making this and tweaking the recipe for years...this way is definitely my family's (and everyone else who tastes it) favorite! The sauce (or gravy. its kind of a combination of both!) tastes fantastic over mashed potatoes too!

Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 4 lbboneless pork loin roast
  2. 2 cupbrown sugar bbq sauce
  3. 1/2 cuphoney
  4. 1/3 cuppacked brown sugar
  5. 2 cancola; vanilla coke is especially yummy
  6. 1 tspgarlic salt
  7. 1/2 tsponion powder
  8. 1 tspyellow mustard
  9. 1small onion

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Pour half of cola in crockpot, add roast. sprinkle with garlic salt and add onion, cut in half

  2. 2

    In medium bowl, mix all other ingredients and pour over roast

  3. 3

    Cover. cook on low approximately 4 hours

  4. 4

    Remove meat and shred with two forks. return to slow cooker and cover.

  5. 5

    Switch to high and cook approximately 1 hour, til hot and bubbly. if sauce is too thin for your liking, you can add a little cornstarch to thicken or reduce in saucepan.

    Serve on rolls or over mashed potatoes. enjoy!

im an italian mom from nj with 3 very fussy eaters...3 kids (ages 16, 20 & 24) :D very hard to find dishes they all agree on, and now my oldest became a vegetarian so even harder! lol. but love this app and all the great people! i love cooking for and spending time with my family. all things beauty, true crime books and shows,and I'm very interested in homeopathic and natural cures, and living a positive and grateful life... and im a diehard NY Ranger fan.oh, and i LOVE bacon! so thats me :-)
