Ingredients

2-4 servings
  1. 1/2 cupOats
  2. 1/2 cupMoong dal / green whole moong
  3. 1/4 cupchopped onions
  4. 1/4 cupchopped tomatoes, carrot, beans
  5. Tempering : cumin seeds, Curry leaves, chillies green
  6. Garlic ginger paste
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1 tspGhee

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the oats and dal for 20 -30 min.

    Put the chopped vegetables except onion with soaked oats and dal in the cooker and double the water, add in the salt and turmeric. Let it cook in simmer for 5 min, then cook for two whistles on medium heat.

    Let it cool. In the meantime take a pan, pour ghee, add in cumin seeds, curry leaves, garlic ginger paste, Onion & saute'.

    Saute onion until it's light brown, put in cooked oats, dal and vegetables, and if required water for the right consistency.stir well. serve hot
