Ingredients

  1. For uttapam
  2. 1+1/2cup rawa
  3. 1 cupcurd
  4. 4 tbspchopped carrot
  5. 4 tbspchopped cabbage
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  8. 2 tbspoil
  9. For sambhar
  10. 1/2 cuptoor dar
  11. 1 cupchopped lauki
  12. 1/2 cupchopped carrot
  13. to tasteSalt
  14. 1 tspturmeric powder
  15. For tempering
  16. 1 tbspOil
  17. 1 tspmustard seeds
  18. 5-6curry leaves
  19. 2 cupchopped tomatoes
  20. 1 tbsptamarind pulp
  21. 1 tbspsambhar powder
  22. 2whole red chilli

Cooking Instructions

    Pressure cook washed dal,carrot and lauki along with water,salt and turmeric. cook till 3-4 whistle.

    Take a big bowl,add rawa and curd.mix well and keep aside for 15 minutes.

    Meanwhile take a kadhai,heat oil add mustard seeds,curry leaves and whole red chilli.add chopped tomatoes and cook till mashy.add sambhar masala and tamarind pulp.

    Add this tadka to boiled sambhar and cook on low flame for another 10 minutes.than switch off the gas.

    Add water to rawa and add salt.mix well.heat mini nonstick tawa and grease a little.

    Spread 1tbsp batter on each cavity and add both vegetables by spreading on It.sprinkle little salt and chilli powder.flip gently,sprinkle little oil and cook from both sides.

    Ready to serve with sambhar.
