My family loves jalebi so I tried my hands on it.

Ingredients

one hour
24-25 pieces
  1. 1 cupAll purpose flour
  2. 1 tbspBengal gram Flour
  3. 1/4 cupCurd
  4. pinchSWEET soda
  5. Water -as per requirement for making smooth batter
  6. 1/2 tspJalebi colour-1/2
  7. I cup ghee for frying jalebi
  8. For chashni-
  9. 2 cupsSugar
  10. 1 cupwater
  11. 1/2 tspSaffron threads
  12. 1/2 tspCardamom powder
  13. 1 tspLemon juice
  14. Mix all of above for chashni and boil it

Cooking Instructions

one hour

    Switch on chashni in low flame.

  2. 2

    Heat one cup ghee.

  3. 3

    Mix all of above other than chashni ingredients and make smooth batter.

  4. 4

    Fill it in jalebi maker or any milk packet.

  5. 5

    Make jalebi and fry it in low flame till it's bubbles stops.

  6. 6

    Now dip it in prepared chashni for 30 second and serve hot jalebi.

  7. 7

    You can Garnish it with saffron threads and grated pistachios
