Parathas, rotis are staple to many parts of India. In some States in India , people 's mornings start with rotis & parathas. It is very filling & use of different stuffing in any recipe makes it more palatable. So let's go on the recipe........

Ingredients

20 minutes
Makes 5 parathas
  1. For the outer layer :
  2. 1 cup whole wheat dough
  3. For the stuffing :
  4. 3/4 cup grated paneer
  5. 3spring onions finely chopped (whites + greens)
  6. 1green chilli, spicy & finely chopped
  7. 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Fresh curds to serve
  10. Salt & roasted cumin seeds powder to sprinkle on fresh curds

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Stuffing : Chop spring onion greens and whites along with green chilli. Grate paneer & mix with black pepper powder, green chillies & salt.Keep aside.

    Knead the dough & make equal size balls.Take 1 ball & roll the size of a puri. Put the stuffing in the centre.

    Bring all the ends together and close it properly like a ball. Roll like a thick paratha.

    Heat a non-stick pan. Put the paratha on it. Dry roast both the sides. Than put ghee on it & cook the paratha nicely till pink spots appear on it.Cook the other side also properly.

    Remove the paratha in a plate & serve hot with fresh curds.Sprinkle salt & roasted cumin seed powder on the curds. Make all parathas the same way.
