Ingredients

  1. 250 gmrava/ sooji
  2. 150 gmcurd(little bit sour)
  3. 1 TbspENO powder
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. as neededWater
  6. 3 tspOil
  7. 1chopped onion
  8. 1chopped tomato
  9. 100 gmChopped pumpkin
  10. 1chopped carrot
  11. 2 Tbsptamarind paste
  12. 1/2 bowlsoaked and cooked yellow pulse
  13. 2 tspkadhi patta(curry leaves)
  14. 1 Tbspmustard seeds
  15. pinchhing/ asafoetida
  16. 4 Tbspsambhar masala
  17. 1 Tbspcrushed Jaggery
  18. 2chopped green chillies
  19. 1 Tspred chilli powder

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the rava with curd, salt and some water for 20-25 min.After the time get over mix more water to make Idli batter & add some chopped coriander, eno powder and mix.Pour the mixture on greased Idli stand and cook it for 10-12 min in the steamer.

    In a large deep pan add some oil with some mustard seeds,heing, green chillies, Onion & saute it.Now add Tomato, veggies with some salt and fry.Add some water and cook it for 2 whistle.

    Make a paste of cooked pulse,add to the gravy with sambhal masala, mix nicely and add almost 2 glass of water,salt, tamarind paste, jaggery powder and mix it and cook until it comes to a boil.

    In a ladle take some oil, heat it.Add some mustard seeds, heing, curry leaves and red chilli powder.Tadka is ready.Pour it to the cooked Sambhar.Add chopped Coriander also.
