Ingredients

  1. 2 tbsp oil
  2. 3/4 tspmustard
  3. 1 tsp cumin
  4. 1 tsp urad dal
  5. As neededfew curry leaves
  6. 2 tbsp peanuts
  7. 1 onion (finely chopped)
  8. 2chilli (slit)
  9. 5beans (chopped)
  10. 2 tbsp peas
  11. ½ tsp turmeric
  12. 1 tspsalt
  13. 3 cup water
  14. 1 cuprava / semolina (coarse)
  15. 1 tsp ghee
  16. 1/2 emon juice
  17. 2 tbspcoriander (finely chopped)
  18. 1/4 cupcashews
  19. 8-10raisins

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp oil. splutter ¾ tsp mustard, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp urad dal.

    Add ½ onion, 1 inch ginger, 2 chilli beans,cashews,and ½ tsp salt.saute until the onions soften slightly.

    Add peas,saute it,than add curry leaves.Than fry peanuts and keep aside

    Than add chopped tomato, saute it,than add roasted suji,add turmeric powder,saute it for few mins.

    Add raisins and chopped coriander leaves take a pan boil water

  6. 6

    Add hot water in suji mixture.
    make sure to keep stirring to prevent lump formation.

    cover and simmer for 2 minutes or until the rava absorb all the water.

    add 1 tsp ghee, ½ lemon juice and mix well.

    Finally enjoy vegetable upma.
