Bacon and Tofu stir-fry in Japanese Style gravy
Japanese style stir-fry with gravy (It's called "An-kake, pronounced "kakay"). Made with whatever I found in the fridge. You can use any vegetable or meat for this dish. I used home-made bacon to add flavor, but you can omit it if you are vegetarian. I would have added mushrooms if I had them. The gravy (An) is usually made with potato starch as a thickener, but you can use corn starch (or corn flour) if you don't have it. By the way, "kake" means to "pour over" so an-kake is a dish with gravy on it.

Chicken and Garlic Stir-fry with Black Pepper
I ate a tasty squid version of this at a Thai restaurant near my home. I tried to make a chicken version. The key is to use a lot of garlic and black pepper. (It doesn't have much flavour if you only use a little.) I used skinless thigh meat, but it is also nice with chicken breast meat. Recipe by Setsubunhijiki

Yolks and Celery Stir-Fry
My goodness, so many cracked eggs! I was devastated when I asked somebody to get the eggs for me and about 1 kg of the eggs cracked. But hey, no use crying over cracked (or broken) eggs. I decided to turn them into something tasty. Why so many yolks? Because the eggs have two yolks in them. I think for this recipe, I used yolks from about 10 broken/cracked eggs. You can use whole eggs for this one. Poach them one by one first until they're a bit firm.

Celery & Carrot Kimpira Stir-fry
Usually kimpira is made with gobo (burdock root and carrot), but I tried celery! It tastes so good! This will go great with rice or for your lunch (bento!!). If you like spicy stir fries, try adding a red chili or chili flakes. Leave it out if you don't or if making for kids ^^
