Okro and stew

Jantullu'sbakery @jantulluhadiza84
Cooking Instructions
- 1
For the stew a wash and blend the tomatoes,Scotch bonnet, tattase and onion
- 2
Pour the blend in a pot add the beef, oils, seasoning and spices and salt to taste and plate on an electric cooker, I always made this one pot stew on a slow cooker so that everything will get enough time to cook perfectly.
- 3
The stew takes at least 50-60 minutes to cooked, you can add water if needed depending on the type of stock you are using.
- 4
And after 55 mins my stew is done
- 5
For okro part I boil the water with my washed garden egg, cook for 5 minutes and then I added my washed, grated okro and cooked for 5-7 mins
- 6
And this is how we serve the soup

Irish Lamb Stew Irish Lamb Stew
This recipe is from Hubby's paternal 'Nana' (grandmother). We spoke on the phone twice before Hubby and I were wed and off to Germany. She was pure Irish, lilting accent and all. She gave me this recipe on our second phone call. I was so grateful and asked what I could give her. Her answer, a great-granddaughter! All the great-grandkids were boys and she longed for a girl. Sadly she passed away while we were in Germany... and sadder still we only have a son. I wish we could have met... I bet she would have had endless stories to tell! This has become our traditional Samhain dinner and a remembrance of Nana. This recipe is very different from others, which have carrots and potatoes. I asked Nana about the missing root veggies and she stated that it is meant to be served with Colcannon, a mashed potato and cabbage or kale dish, so didn't need them. Beef Stew with Red Beans and Potatoes Beef Stew with Red Beans and Potatoes
The origins of beans (Phaseolus spp.) are ancient, dating back to the dawn of time in Central America, particularly in Mexico, where they were cultivated as early as 5000 BC. These species arrived in Europe during the first ocean crossings and quickly found an ideal growing environment on the old continent, gradually replacing European bean crops belonging to the Vigna genus. From that moment on, beans began to conquer the palates and arable lands from Europe to the Far East, and over this five-century journey, a variety of beans developed, even very different from each other. This led to the red bean, which is simply a common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) characterized by a red skin of varying intensity, sometimes mottled. In Italy, we have many typical varieties of legumes, and among these, we can find at least two types of red-skinned beans, which are world-renowned excellences, such as the red bean of Lucca and the Lima bean. Greek Beef Stew with Homemade Noodles (Moscharaki Kokkinisto me Xylopittes) Greek Beef Stew with Homemade Noodles (Moscharaki Kokkinisto me Xylopittes)
Since the seasons have disappeared, we don’t see fall, winter, summer or spring. In one day you can actually see all the seasons for example this morning it was raining and then we had a hale storm and now it sunny and quite nice 🙂 no snow yet but I did see in the weather forecast something about a snowstorm coming our way Thursday or Friday.I started this post a couple of months ago, well I had just written the title and never got back to it but today was going to be the day that I made this delicious stew along with the homemade noodles. If you really like to make your own noodles I will post the recipe at a later date for anyone that would like to try it. Comfort food for the heart and soul a delicious dish with potatoes, carrots, and a bit of white wine. 🙂 Foodzesty -
