Ingredients

  • 1 kgPomfret
  • Formarinade:
  • 4 tspRed chilli powder
  • 2 tspTurmeric (haldi) powder
  • 120 gramsflour(besan)
  • 120 gramsGinger garlic paste
  • 5 tspLemon juice
  • as per tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients for the marinade and rub into the fish. Marinate for about 30 minutes.

    Heat the oil in a frying pan; fry the fish on low heat till crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain the excess oil on absorbent paper towels.

    Serve hot with lemon slices.
