This is a very easy peasy recipe of potatoes which can be made within minutes.. Its spicy and tasty and if u want u can add a dash of lemon juice and it a bit tangy taste too.. Good for party starters too...

In a pan take all the ingredients except Kashmiri chilli powder for the masala and dry roast on low flame for 5-7 mins.Let it cool and grind it to a coarse powder.Add Kashmiri chilli powder and mix well.

In a kadai take oil and add mustard seeds, hing and curry leaves and as it spluttter add chopped onion and saute for 5 mins.

Chop the potatoes and add to the onions.Add at to taste and the chettinand masala around 2-3 tbsp and give it a mix and cook on low flame for 5 mins.

Instant chatpata potatoes are ready.. Serve with dal rice, chapati or u can also serve as starter.. For starter use baby potatoes.
