In Black urad dal protein level is very high and my all time favourite
Take a bowl of rice and the same quality of Black urad dal. Mix both and washed well after that put the khichri mix in the cooker.
after that add water, just a little bit of above the khichri level add salt as per taste, then cover cooker with the lid and wait for upcoming the 2 whistles after that switch off the gas And leave it for 5 to 7 minutes
enjoy your urad dal khichdi and desi ghee is extremely important in khichri and you can eat with achar salad and curd.
