Ingredients

30 mins
4 servings
  1. 2Chicken Breast (boneless, skinless or canned chicken)
  2. 1Onion, chopped
  3. 1 cupChicken Broth
  4. 1 cupMilk
  5. 1Frozen Mixed Veggies
  6. 1 bunchFresh Parsley
  7. pinchCayenne Pepper (optional)
  8. 2 tspSalt
  9. 1 tspPepper
  10. 1Water
  11. 5 tbspFlour
  12. 1Cat, to supervise.

Cooking Instructions

30 mins
  1. 1

First, add 1 cup of chicken broth to a pot then place in your chicken breast. Use water to finish covering chicken, add salt, pepper and cayenne then bring to a boil and let simmer 20 minutes.

  2. 2

Once chicken is finished, place chicken and parsley on cutting board to cool and reserve broth mixture in a bowl.

  3. 3

Heat up a bit of oil in your pan, add onion and sautee until cooked as you like. Don't drop any onion on your floor. Cats don't like onion. Onion is death.

  4. 4

While onions sautee, cut chicken into (roughly) 1 inch cubes, and chop parsley. Don't eat the chicken, but give some to your cat.

  5. 5

When onion is done, add flour to create a rue. More or less flour may be needed.

  6. 6

To your rue, add 1 cup broth mixture and 1 cup milk. More or less may be added to achieve desired consistency. Add salt, pepper and a pinch of cayenne as you like.

  7. 7

To your delicious, creamy mixture add chicken, parsley and mixed veggies. Add as much as you'd like, stir and let everything heat thoroughly to cook the veggies. I like mine on the crisp side. Yum.

  8. 8

  9. 9

Enjoy! I like to eat this over mash potatoes, but over biscuits is delicious too.
