My first trial of Granola. Make healthy snack to accompany the yoghurt.

Ingredients

30 minutes
250 gr
  1. 150 grrolled oats (not the quick cooking)
  2. 25 grsoaked raisin
  3. 25 grchopped almonds
  4. 50 mlhoney
  5. 50 grbutter
  6. Additional as your wishes
  7. Walnut/cashewnuts/hazelnuts/pistachio
  8. Flax seeds
  9. Dried cranberry/ apricot/ goji berries
  10. Peanuts butter/marmelade
  11. Sunflower seeds/ pumpkin seeds

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

    In a pan, melt the butter. Add the rolled oats. Pan fry it to mix well with the butter.

    Add the chopped nuts, chopped berries and seeds. Add honey.

  3. 3

    Mix it well for 5 minutes.

    Pour the mixture on the baking tray or bowl.

    Place it in the oven and bake it for 30-40 minutes at 120°C until golden brown. Once in a time, open the oven and stir it a moment.

    Serve your Granola with a bowl of yoghurt and fruits.

    Notes. I like my granola not too sticky/ loose. If you like some sticky/lumpy granola, you may add 1-2 tablespoon egg white and mix it with the mixture.
