Ingredients

  1. 1 cupwhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
  2. 1/2 cupfinely chopped fenugreek (methi) leaves
  3. 2 tbspbajra (black millet) flour
  4. 2 tbspjowar (white millet) flour
  5. 2 tbspragi (nachni / red millet) flour
  6. 2 tspsesame seeds (til)
  7. 1 tbsphoney
  8. 1/2 tspginger-green chilli paste
  9. 1 tbspoil
  10. 1 tspflax seeds
  11. to tastesalt
  12. as requiredwhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) for rolling
  13. 12 tspoil for cooking

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a semi-soft dough using enough water.

  2. 2

    Divide the dough into 24 equal portions and roll out each portion into a 150 mm. (6") diameter circle using whole wheat flour for rolling.

  3. 3

    Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook each circle, using ½ tsp of oil, till it turns golden brown in colour from both the sides.
