Ingredients

  1. 1 cupgram flour
  2. 1cucumber
  3. 2medium size tomatoes
  4. 1green Chilli
  5. 5-6garlic cloves
  6. 1/2 inchginger piece
  7. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  8. 1/2 cupgrated paneer
  9. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  10. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  11. 1/4 tspasafoetida
  12. Salt as per taste
  13. 2 tbspCoriander leaves chopped
  14. 2 tbspoil or ghee
  15. as neededWater

Cooking Instructions

    In a grinding jar take roughly chopped cucumber, tomatoes, green Chilli, garlic,ginger,cumin seeds. Grind them and make a smooth paste. Transfer in a bowl. Add gram flour in this paste.

    Mix well,add little water to make a pouring consistency batter. Add salt, asafoetida and 1 tbsp coriander leaves.mix well and keep aside for 5 minutes.

    In another bowl take grated paneer, add salt and coriander leaves. Mix it. Take the batter whisk 2-3 time again. Then pour a full ladle of batter in preheated pan. Spread evenly.add little amount of oil all around.

    When it looks little dry add paneer and spread all over the chilla.cook for 1 minute then flip and cook from other side for 1 minte.

    Flip again and cook few seconds then transfer in a plate. Make all chillas. Served hot with ketchup or chutney.
