First of all to prepare red chutney, peel and chop onion and garlic. Now add onion, garlic, chilli and tamarind pulp in a mixer jar, add chilli powder, salt, cumin seeds and dhaniyajeera powder and grind it finely. If required, 1 teaspoon of water can be added.

For the fritter's batter sift the gram flour and rice flour, add the spices as mentioned above and prepare a slightly thick batter.

Now Wash 2 arbi leaves, remove thair thick veins and cut into large squares.

Cut the paneer into square pieces and cut it in the middle. Marinate it inside and outside with red chutney.

Now take the arbi leaves, put the marinated paneer in it, cover it like a pocket, dip it in the prepared batter (coat it) and fry the pakodas in hot oil on medium flame.

Fritters are also made from pieces of square and leftover small leaves. Paneer Arbi pocket Fritters /pakodas are ready. Serve with green and red chutneys.
