Ingredients

3/4 cup
  • 250 gmRaw Tomato
  • 4Green Chilli
  • 1 1/2 tbspSplit Bengalgram/Chanadal
  • 1 1/2 tspSplit Blackgram/Urad dal
  • 3/4 tspSalt
  • 4tsp+2 tsp Oil
  • 1/2 tspMustard seeds
  • 1/4 tspAsafoetida/Hing
  • 2Dry Red Chilli(Broken into bits)
  • 4Curry Leaves

Steps

10 mins
  1. 1

    Heat 4 tsp oil. Add the dals. Stir.

  2. 2

    Add the tomato and green chilli. Stir fry them for 2 mins.

  3. 3

    Close & cook for 3 mins.

  4. 4

    Cool down the mixture.

  5. 5

    Grind into a coarse paste with salt.

  6. 6

    Heat 2 tsp oil. Pop up mustard. Add hing, dry red chilli and curry leaves.

  7. 7

    Add this seasoning to the chutney.

  8. 8

    Offer Raw Tomato Chutney to Lord Sri Krishna. Honor Krishna Prasadam.
