Beef samosas
When you feel like homemade snack, this is very good. The kids will love them but remember to go slow on the chillies.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Make the dough using warm water flour, salt to get a soft one. Should not be too soft or hard
- 2
Let it rest for around 15 minutes
- 3
Meanwhile make the filling-boil the minced meat till tender, then add salt and the rest of the ingredients and cook for 2mins. Make sure it is completely dry
- 4
Let it cool
- 5
Divide the dough into 8 small balls, spread the each ball a little bit then put oil and sprinkle with flour
- 6
Put like four balls on top of each other then role them to one big "chapati" then put in a hot pan and cook for like 1 minute on each side but don't put oil. Repeat with the remaining 4
- 7
After that peel them carefully, you will be able to get very thin layers. Divide each into 1/4 and make the pockets, i used flour paste to hold them together. This is just a tbsp and a little water
- 8
Fill the pockets with the minced meat and close with the paste
- 9
Heat the oil in a deep frying pan, the oil should not be too hot. Deep fry till you get the brown colour. Repeat till you are done with the rest
- 10
Enjoy while hot

Crispy Samosas with Easy Homemade Wrappers Crispy Samosas with Easy Homemade Wrappers
I had some really good samosas at a restaurant and made them again at home! I used a recipe from a cookbook and omitted the butter and decreased the vegetable oil for a healthier result.Homemade samosa wrappers are seriously delicious! You can fill them with whatever you want. If you use ground meat, it will harden just a bit when cooled so it's easy to work with.If you don't want to use oil in the wrappers, I recommend this recipe -. They are gyoza skins made with egg but will still be crispy when fried. For 8 samosas. Recipe by Kuminchan cookpad.japan -
Spicy Paneer Masala Samosas Spicy Paneer Masala Samosas
#deepfriedAs a typical desi girl, I love fried food especially samosas. They offer me and my family great comfort and experimenting with different samosa fillings has been one of my kitchen adventures! These paneer masala samosas are super juicy and spicy on the inside and crisp on the outside and don’t require chutney or ketchup even! If you try this recipe do let me know!Happy Cooking! BBQ Rib Samosas BBQ Rib Samosas
You can fill these with anything! Taco filling, pizza, buffalo chicken, cheeseburger, Nutella, pb and j, sloppy joes, breakfast ingredients etc! The possibility is endless! They still maintain a decent crunch and the flavor gets better eating them the next day for left overs. Perfect for those busy school mornings for the kids to grab and go ! Chef Nena -
Baked Butternut Squash Samosas Baked Butternut Squash Samosas
Another one for my Butternut Squash series ;) Samosas are often made with potatoes but I tried it with butternut squash instead! I also find baking samosas instead of frying is much easier and they turn out less oily. There are a lot of spices in here but if you don't have them all, don't worry. It will still taste good if you leave something out or you could even replace with curry powder or something else you like.Makes 8 samosas.
