  1. 1 cupGram flour / besan
  2. 2 cupsSuji
  3. as requiredCurd for batter
  4. as requiredWater for batter consistency
  5. 1 tspGrated ginger
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1 packetEno -
  8. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  9. Seasoning
  10. 2 tspOil
  11. 1 tspMustard seeds
  12. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  13. 2Green chillies for seasoning
  14. 1chop & mix in batter
  15. 1/2 tspSugar -
  16. 50 mlWater
  17. as requiredCurry leaves for seasoning

Cooking Instructions

    Take 2cups of Suji and 1cup of Besan. Add curd and water and prepare the batter. Add grated ginger and grated green chilli and keep the batter aside for 3hours. Take a mould grease it with oil. Take this batter after 3hours and add salt to taste,pinch of sugar,turmeric and Eno fruit salt and stir and pour in the greased mould and set it in Pressure cooker for steaming.

    Steam it fr 15-20mins.check it and remove from cooker and let it cool for few mins and cut into pieces.

    Take a kadai add oil 2tsp and put zeera, sarson,slit green chillies,curry leaves and add 1/4glass of water and add sugar 1/2tsp and boil once and pour it over dhokla.
    Peanut Chutney recipe -
    Roasted and peeled peanuts,green chillies,salt,tamarind a pinch and grind it adding water to form chutney.
    Serve Dhokla with Peanut Chutney.
