  1. 1 Cupwhole Masaor dal
  2. 1chopped onion
  3. 1chopped tomato
  4. 1 teaspoonchopped garlic
  5. 1 teaspoonchopped ginger
  6. 2chopped green chilli
  7. 6-8Curry leaves
  8. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  9. 1/2 teaspoongaram masala Powder
  10. 1/2 teaspoondhaniya (coriander)pawder
  11. 1/4 teaspoonhaldi (Turmeric)powder
  12. 4-5pieces Kokum
  13. 2 tablespoonOil
  14. 1 teaspoonCumin seed
  15. 1 teaspoonMustard Seed
  16. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

30 mins
  1. 1

    Soak Masoor dal for 30 Min. Cook in pressure cooker till became soft.

    Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seed mustard seeds, Curry patta. Add onion fry it. Add Ginger Garlic and fry till golden brown. Now add chopped tomato cook for a minute then.

    Now add red chilli powder, gram masala powder, dhaniya powder. sprinkle some water and fry it till oil separates from masala.

    Now add cooked whole
    Masaor dal, Kokum and water in masala. Now cook on low flame 10 minutes. Add chopped Fresh Coriander.

    Serve hot with Rice.
