Marinate The Prawns:
In a large bowl add prawns (peeled and de-veined), soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, white vinegar or lemon juice, chilli flakes and 1 Tablespoon oil. Mix well until prawns are coated evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 to 15 minutes. - 2
Cook The Prawns:
Take a medium-sized pan and heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium-high flame. Remove the prawns with a slotted spoon and add to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until prawns are pink. Then, remove the prawns and set aside on a plate. - 3
Make The Sauce And Add Prawns To It:
Pour the marinade into the pan and let it simmer until it becomes thick. Then, add the prawns back to the skillet and add in the sauce. Mix well and cook for a minute. Garnish with chopped green onions and drizzle sesame oil (you can skip this) - 4
Serve with rice in a dish as you like.
