Ingredients

30 minutes
4-6 people
  1. Dough
  2. 2 cupsWhole Wheat flour
  3. as per tasteSalt
  4. 1 TablespoonCarrom seeds (ajwain)
  5. as requiredWater
  6. Stuffing
  7. 1 cupSattu Flour
  8. 1large onion chopped finely
  9. Handfulchopped Coriander leaves
  10. 1 teaspoonCarrom seeds (ajwain)
  11. few drops of oil
  12. few drops of water
  13. as per tasteSalt
  14. 1 teaspooncumin powder
  15. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  16. 1/4 teaspoonturmeric powder
  17. 1 teaspoondry mango powder
  18. Tomato Chutney
  19. 2-3tomatoes
  20. 2-3green chillies
  21. as requiredSalt
  22. 1/2 teaspooncumin powder

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

    In a bowl, add sattu flour, onion, Coriander leaves, salt, ajwain,amchur powder,oil and a few drops of water.
    Combine to mix together well

    Knead a soft dough using flour, salt, Carrom seeds and water.
    Take a small portion of the dough and form a bowl shape.
    Add 2-3 tablespoon of the sattu mixture in the dough bowl and close the edges an d roll into a paratha.

    Heat a pan and roast the paratha from both the sides until golden brown. Apply some oil or ghee on both the sides.
    Repeat the same process with the remaining dough and sattu mixture

    For the tomato chutney,
    Roast the tomatoes and chillies on a gas flame. Wash them under water and peel off the tomatoes to get rid of the burnt peels.
    Smash the tomato and chillies using your fingers or a smasher. Add the salt and cumin powder and remove in a serving bowl.

    Serve hot parathas with this tomato chutney.
