  1. 250 gmbrinjal chopped
  2. 250 gmfenugreek leaves
  3. 1tomato chopped
  4. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  5. 1/2 tspasofedita
  6. 1 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1 tspred chilli powder
  8. 1 tspsalt
  9. 3 tspsugar
  10. 3 tspgaram masala
  11. 2 tspchopped garlic
  12. 1 tbspoil

Cooking Instructions

    In a pressure cooker add, oil, cumin seeds, asofedita, then garlic (I have added my garlic chutney), and tomatoes.

    Cook for 2-3minutes, when tomatoes are softened, add brinjal, mix well

  3. 3

    Now add all the spices except sugar. Add a cup of water and pressure cook upto 4whistles

    Now open the pressure cooker still its hot(not steaming) add fenugreek leaves, mix well, add sugar and cook again for 5-8mts

  5. 5

    Sabji is ready to serve. Tastes best with Jowar or bajra roti
