Ingredients

  4. 1medium size tomato
  5. 2 tspginger garlic paste
  6. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  7. 1 tspcoriander powder
  8. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  10. as requiredSalt
  11. 1/2 tspfreshly made garam masala
  12. somefresh coriander leaves (Finely chopped)
  13. As requiredMustard oil
  14. 1bay leaf
  15. 1dry red chilli
  16. 1 1/2 tspfresh cream

Cooking Instructions

    Cut cauliflower into medium pieces,wash and keep aside.

    Chop onion in to slices. And make ginger garlic paste (rough paste). Chop tomato.

    Then in a pan heat oil and saute the cauliflower florets for 5 minutes to make tender and transfer to a plate.

    Now in a kadhai add mustard oil, heat over medium flame and add 1/4 tsp of sugar and caramalize it. Then add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1 bay leaf, 1 dry red chilli. Now add sliced onion. Fry until turns into golden brown.

    Now add 2 tsp of rough paste of ginger garlic paste.

    Now saute for 2 min over medium heat. Now add 1 tsp of coriander powder,1/2 tsp of cumin powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, salt, 1/2 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder and chopped tomato. Mix well until everything is well combined.

    Keep on stirring in between until oil starts separating from the mixture. This process should not take more than 7-8 minutes. Now add 1 and 1/2 tsp of fresh cream.

    Mix everything well. Cook for 1-2 min again.

    Now it's time to add those sauteed cauliflower florets and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes over low heat.

    Now add fresh green peas. (If fresh green peas are not available you can use frozen green peas) cook for 2-3 minutes again over low flame. Now it's time to add 2 cups of warm water. And add 1/2 tsp of garam masala. Cook for 4-5 minutes over low- medium heat.

    And that's it. When vegetables are cooked then add 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves. And serve it up.
