Ingredients

  1. 1.5 cupsemolina
  2. 1 cupcurd
  3. 1 sachetEno
  4. For sambhar
  5. 1/2 cuparhar daal
  6. 1/2 bowlbottle gourd
  7. 1capsicum
  8. Aa neededGreen peas
  9. 1chopped carrot
  10. 4-5cauliflower floret
  11. 1/2brinjal
  12. 2tomatoes
  13. 1 inchginger
  14. 3-4 tbsptamarind pulp
  15. 2 tbspsambhar masala
  16. 1 tbspkitchen king masala
  17. 15-20curry leaves
  18. 2 tbspmustard seeds
  19. to tasteSalt
  20. 2 tbspoil
  21. 1 tbspturmeric
  22. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Take semolina, salt and curd in a bowl and mix well. Keep it aside for 30 min.

    For sambhar take chopped veggies and daal in a cooker. Put salt and turmeric in it. Cook it for 10 min on low flame. Now add sambhar masala, kitchen king masala and tamarind pulp to it. Cook again for 5 - 7 min. For tadka heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves in it. Pour it into sambhar. Cover it and keep aside.

    Now beat idli batter well. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Pour this tadka to idli batter. Add salt and eno to batter.Now grease idli moulds and fill batter to moulds. Microwave it for 4 min. Idli is ready. Serve it with sambhar.
