Ingredients

30 minutes
2 people
  1. 250 gmSalmon
  2. 2 tbspLight Soy sauce
  3. 1 tbspSesame oil
  4. Ginger lots of it
  5. Salt & Pepper
  6. 1 tspGarlic powder
  7. Shallots 3 small bulbs
  8. 1 tbspWolfberries
  9. Olive oil

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

Marinade the Salmon in salt & pepper 30-45 mins before cooking.

  2. 2

Cut the ginger to finely thin strips. Heat up a small pan and fry in oil, medium fire until golden. Move the ginger around to avoid burning and even cooking. Once cooked and crispy, place in a strainer to drain away excess oil and provide airflow to keep it crispy. Set aside.

  3. 3

You can start assembling your fish during step 2. Get a plate or a stainless plate, to avoid the fish from sticking on the plate brush/spray a little oil on the surface. Put the marinated Salmon, drizzle with soy sauce and 1 tbsp of ginger OIL from step 2. Top the salmon with the wolfberries and shallots.

  4. 4

Steam the fish in a covered pot/pan for 10 minutes.

  5. 5

Once the time on step 4 is done, turn the heat off, drizzle the Sesame Oil on the salmon and leave it in the steamer/pot covered for another 1 minute. When the minute's over you may proceed to take out the plated steamed Salmon.

  6. 6

Garnish with your Ginger Floss on the sides and enjoy.
