Ingredients

  1. 1/2cup-Ogbono
  2. 300g-Beef
  3. 100g-cray fish
  4. 1-smoked fish
  5. 80g- kpomo
  6. 1onion
  7. 1/2 tbs-uzizza seed
  8. 100g- ugwu
  9. 4-maggi
  10. 5-fresh pepper
  11. Ginger-small
  12. 1cup-palm oil
  13. Okpehe(locust beans)daddawa-small
  14. 1/2 LWater-1

Cooking Instructions

    Wash, clean season and boil beef and stock fish,dry fish,and the grounded cray fish and diced kpomo

  2. 2

    Add the grounded uzizza seeds(mosoro),onions,maggi,okpehe(daddawa) & allow to boil

  3. 3

    When the beef and stock fish are tender,dissolve the ogbono in warm palm oil before adding it to the stock

  4. 4

    Pour in the dissolved ogbono into the stock,add in your pepper and ginger(optional) and stir vigorously

  5. 5

    Add the washed,clean smoked fish,half cover and allow to boil, stir at intervals to prevent burning, add shredded ugwu leaves & cover and allow to cook for 3 minutes

  6. 6

    Remove from fire and serve with swallow
