Easy to make and delicious. Add the coating of your choice. I usually make a mix: some with just cacao, some with almonds etc etc.
Keep in the fridge.

Easy to make and delicious. Add the coating of your choice. I usually make a mix: some with just cacao, some with almonds etc etc.

Steps

Chop the chocolate into very small pieces. Put into a (heatproof) bowl.

Gently heat the cream - do not let it boil. If it does boil, it needs to cool before the next step.

Pour the cream over the chocolate. Stir until all the chocolate is melted and it’s smooth and glossy.

Put in the fridge until it’s set but you can still roll into truffles - about 1-2 hrs.

Prep whatever you want to roll the truffles in eg cacao powder, chopped hazelnuts etc. And prepare anything you want to add to the insides eg stem ginger etc.

Take a teaspoon of the chocolate mix, add any extra filling and roll into a ball. Then roll in your coating of choice. Put them on some baking paper then back in the fridge.
