Heat 2tbsp oil in a kadai. Add Urad dal, chanadal. Fry until golden brown. Add cumin seeds.

Add small piece of tamarind with red chilli and curry leaves

Fry in oil. Add chopped onion sauté well. Now add the grated beetroot. Cook until it gets soften. Add salt to taste

Now add the coconut piece. Sauté for 2 minutes. Cool down completely. Grind to smooth paste. Add tempering. Yummy Beetroot chutney is ready
