Dress-Up Packet Ramen
This is a yummy recipe perfect for a quick lunch! You can add what you would like/have available, for this one I added sesame seeds, kale, egg, spring onion and crispy onion.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Boil the egg in a pot of water for 5 minutes until cooked.
- 2
Meanwhile fry up the kale in a little oil, soy sauce and a splash of water for 5 minutes. Chop the spring onion. Take the seasoning sachets from the ramen and mix them together in the bowl you are planning to eat from.
- 3
Remove the egg from the boil and place it in cold water and peel. Leave the water boiling and add the ramen noodles to the water to cook as per instructions on the packet.
- 4
Take 2tbsp of the boiling water and add it to your flavour mixture in the bowl to make a paste. When the ramen is cooked drain but leave a little water remaining. Mix the noodles in the bowl with the flavour paste. Here you might need to add a little more of the water the noodles were boiled in, that really depends on how you like to have your ramen.
- 5
Add the kale, egg, crispy onion, spring onion and sesame seeds along with some more soy sauce and sesame oil to taste. Enjoy!

Wakame Seaweed, Onion and Tuna Salad with Mayonnaise Wakame Seaweed, Onion and Tuna Salad with Mayonnaise
The added mayo makes this an easy to eat salad for the kids.Make sure to squeeze out the moisture from the wakame seaweed and the onion at Step 1 in order to prevent the salad from getting watery. The sesame oil and sugar in the dressing make this salad easy to eat even for kids, who normally don't like raw onion. If you are serving this to adults only, add a little ra-yu spicy sesame oil or mustard. For 4 servings. Recipe by LaLaHappy1 cookpad.japan -
Ramen: Soy Sauce Ramen: Soy Sauce
I'm sick of seeing ramen alterations that have an ingredient list of like 10 fresh veggies and 3 fresh meats that cost like 40$ to add but claiming they're for poor college kids or baby cooks, so I'm making my own with what you probably would ACTUALLY have in your (or your parents) kitchen, or would be genuinely cheap to buy, since it's common spices or frozen veggie packs. And still be at least healthier than plain ramen.Kikuriki

Ramen Salad with Sesame Dressing at Home Ramen Salad with Sesame Dressing at Home
This dish was born in Hokkaido. You don't see it as much at restaurants anymore... but I thought it should be easy to make at home. After some research, I came up with an easy sesame dressing! This is a delicious dish on its own, and looks healthy too. Why not make it for your kids, or for a potluck party? If you think the dressing is too sweet, use less sugar. You can make a lot of this salad and store it for later, but it's easy so you can make it as you need it. Serving individual portions makes it easier to eat. I recommend this for lunch. If you add spice with doubanjiang or yangnyumjang, you can quickly transform it into a spice-touced dish.
