Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsurad dal
  2. 4 cupschilled dahi
  3. 1/4 cupsugar
  4. 1/4 cupgud imli chutney
  5. 1/8 cupgreen chilli coriander chutney
  6. 1/8 cupred chilli powder
  7. as required garlic chutney
  8. 1 tspeno soda
  9. As Per Taste Salt
  10. leavesAs Required chopped coriander
  11. Some pomegranate seeds
  12. 4 tsproasted jeera powder
  13. 4 tspred chilli powder
  14. As Required Oil to fry
  15. as neededWater

Cooking Instructions

    Wash urad dal thoroughly 4 times.
    And soak in water fir at least 3 hours.

    Strain all water and grind in mixer, if needed add couple of tsp water, otherwise don't add.

    Keep aside vada batter for at least 1 hour.

    Keep ready salted hot water to soak vada in it.

  5. 5

    Heat oil in kadai, Add salt, eno soda in batter, mix well.

  6. 6

    Put vada in hot oil, fry until golden yellow. Keep aside to cool it.

  7. 7

    Now add all vada in hot water, to make super soft.

    Add sugar and salt in chilled dahi, churn well..

    In a serving dish, arrange soft vada..
    Pour dahi on it.. Put all 3 chutneys on it, sprinkle roasted jeera powder, red chilli powder, coriander, and pomegranate seeds..

    Ready to serve, colourful spicy tangy dahi vada..
