Ingredients

  1. Gatte
  2. 1 cup besan
  3. 1/2 tbsp ajwain
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1/2 tbsphaldi powder
  6. Pinchhing
  7. 1 tbsp oil
  8. as neededWater
  9. Sabji
  10. 3 - tbsp oil
  11. 1- tbsp jeera
  12. 2 - tbsp adrak , green chilli, garlic paste
  13. pinchHing
  14. 1/4 tbsphaldi powder
  15. to tasteSalt
  16. as neededCurd
  17. as neededCoriander

Cooking Instructions

    In a large bowl take 1- cup besan.,add ajwainadd,Salt, haldipwoder,hing,oil and water.

    Mix well making the dough turns moist and all spices are mixed well.

    Add water and knead the dough for 5- minutes.

    Knead to smooth and soft dough.now pinch a ball size dough.

    In a large idli cooker add water.water comes to a boil prepared besan dough.boil for 15- minutes.

    Boiled besan dough into a plate.cut the Gatte into small pieces.

    In a kadai heat 3- tbsp oil and add cumin seeds,hing, haldipwoder,,add ginger, garlic, chilli paste,saute well.add 1- cup water,add 1/2- cup curd and stir, mixture comes to a boil add gatte.mix well

    Cover and boil for 10- minutes

    Gatte ki sabji is ready

    Garnish with coriander and green garlic.

    Serve Gatte ki sabji with paratha serve hot.
