Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cupgrated bottle gourd
  2. 1/2 cupsugar
  3. 1 cupmilk powder
  4. 4 tbspghee
  5. 1 tspcardamom powder
  6. 1 cupmilk
  7. 2 tbspmelon seeds

Cooking Instructions

    First peel the bottle gourd and take out the seeds inside and grate it well.

    Squeeze the water out of the bottle gourd well. Put 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan and add the squeezed bottle gourd and saute well.

    Once it boils lightly, add milk and boil it. Once it boils, add sugar and boil it well again.

    When everything is mixed, add milk powder to it and stir well until water thickens

  5. 5

    When it starts to thicken add a tablespoon of ghee and mash it well. Finally add food colour and mash it.

    When everything comes together add a tablespoon of ghee and stir again. Add cardamom powder for aroma

    Add watermelon seeds and mix and then pour into a greased tray and cool well for two hours.

    Garnish with sliver leaf if desired. Cut into desired shape and serve.

    Now delicious nutritious sweet bottle gourd is ready.
