Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside

Oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add garlic and cook until fragrant.

Add onions/mushrooms and cook until onions get translucent.

Add beef and separate it to cook it evenly while stirring.

Cook the beef until almost heated through.

Stir in sauce mix/butter and cook for 2 minutes.

Taste, and adjust with salt as needed.
