  1. Semolina 250gm, soaked pigeon pea 100 gm,curd 150gm,fruit salt
  2. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon,Red chilli powder 1teaspoon,
  3. as neededSalt to taste, water
  4. Vegetable as you like,soaked tamarind pulp
  5. For tempering rai,whole red chilli,curry leaves,oil

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the semolina with curd and water as required for 1 hr.

    Take the soak pigeon pea in cooker and add turmeric powder and salt to it.Add vegatable as you like and take the 4-5 whistle.

    After opening the cooker add red chilli powder and saoked tamarind pulp. Then temper it with Rai,curry leaves and whole red chilli. Now sambhar is ready to serve.

    Then take the saoked semolina batter and salt to it. Then take the batter in a bowl in small quantity,add fruit salt to it.Then put this batter in idli stand for 10 minutes till it gets cooked.

    Repeat this process as you have the batter. Now idli is ready to eat...
