Ingredients

  1. 1/2 packagesbacon, chopped
  2. 1 largeonion, chopped
  3. 2 clovegarlic, minced
  4. 1 headcabbage, cored & sliced
  5. 3 tspcaraway seeds
  6. 1/4 tspcrushed red pepper
  7. 1 tbspkosher salt
  8. 1 tspground black pepper
  9. 1 tbsponion flakes
  10. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  11. 1 tsppaprika
  12. 6 tbspbutter

Cooking Instructions

    Place bacon in a large frying pan and sautee over medium high heat until crispy.

    Add onion and garlic into the pan and sautee until caramelized.

  3. 3

    Add cabbage, caraway and the rest of the spices and mix well. Continue stirring.

  4. 4

    If starts to get to dry add butter 2 tablespoons at a time to pan.

  5. 5

    Reduce heat to low and cover, simmering about 30 min. All will be soft and wilty.
