Banga soup is a very important and rich delicacy in the niger delta and also in South east part of Nigeria know as ofe akwu,the sweet part of it is that it can be enjoyed with so many foods like rice, garri, fufu,starch and so many more. It can be prepared in so many ways,and i decided to prepare it in this awesome way, you can try my recipe and trust me it will be perfect.enjoy it.

It can be prepared in so many ways,and i decided to prepare it in this awesome way, you can try my recipe and trust me it will be perfect.enjoy it.
Cooking Instructions

Wash and cook banga until it's soft,then drain out the water and put in a strong basin

Pound the banga with a pestle until the flesh is spongy

Then add water and wash the oil out and sieve into a clean pot
- 4
Place it on fire and allow to boil for 15mins to get a little bit thick.

Add the steamed beef, kpomo and fish and seasonings and stir,cover and allow to boil for 5mins.

Add periwinkle,snail,onion and spices to taste and stir.

Lastly add your vegetables, allow to boil for 2mins so it can be green and set aside

Banga soup is ready and it can be served with rice, starch,eba,fufu,etc

I placed a spoon inside the pot so the banga doesn't pour on my gas when boiling

#Ashlab.Okro soup has been one of the most easiest and quickest soup to prepare.some argue that okro takes a lot of time and energy to make,but for me I used the blender method to blend my okro and ogbonno due to the fact that I don’t like the smell that comes from ogbonno,So blending it together with the okro removes the smell and also gives it a nice taste.It’s known as miyan kubewa in Hausa.I love everything about okro soup mixed with ogbonno,especially that part of draw,which makes it fun while eating. Blending your belly pepper,chilly pepper with the garlic,onions and cray fish gives the paste a nice aroma and also taste.Least I forget I used the processed okro because I couldn’t get the fresh okro here .You can cut spinach and add to your okro soup.Don’t forget to wash your hands before you start cooking and also wash all the veggies that needs to be washed.
